Earlier in July, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta had requested the funds at a high level meeting chaired by Nitin Gadkari, the Union Road Transport and Highway.
Under the CRIF Act 1, the competent authority of the ministry has agreed to approve the work of Rs 83..3 CRORE crore to meet the work of the NTT government in Delhi, a letter from the PTI’s Road Transport and Highway Ministry.
The Public Works Department (PWD) manages about 1,400 kilometers in the capital. Planning to repair 600 kilometers of roads a year is already underway. PWD Minister Parvesh Verma had earlier announced that the upgrade was aligned with the city’s widespread environment and infrastructure targets.

Roads are the arteries of any modern city, and by strengthening this critical corridor, we are maintaining security, speed and sustainable for millions of everyday passengers.” This initiative is just about repairing roads-every rate is about completing World-infrastructure. The Delhi government has started several projects for the purpose of reducing dust pollution, improving the quality of the roads and facilitating traffic congestion. One of the approved projects is to stretch and repair roads across the national capital.
Najafgarh Dhansa Road has a 5 km long part of some of the long -term parts approved in western Delhi. Keshavpuram drainage crossing Mongolpuri Railway is part of the 75.7575 km long road.
In South Delhi, some of the major roads approved include 78.7878 km long press enclev road, Old Mehouli-Badarpur Road, August 5 km in length and Haus Special Village Road. The IIT Flyover and Africa Venue Venue Junction of 1.80 km in length, 4 km long Nelson Mandela route and a 2 km long saline ratio will also be taken for repair work.
In North Delhi and northeast Delhi, a 3.5 km long east route near ISBT Kashmare Gate, a 3.1 km long Shastri Park flyover, a 3.14 km long road near the Ito Vikas road and the 7.10 km long road have been selected.
In Central and New Delhi districts, the strengthening of the Guru Teg Bahadur Road and the World Road has been approved. A total of 3 km in length will be strengthened.
